Betta water? Ok so it is RO...I cant think of a better way to leech the calcium right out of their bones lol..Stupid.

The rock with string is a frigging riot...All I can picture is my old Oscars lips to the rock and a string hanging out of their bum... Perhaps you should make your own rocks with string and peddle them on the sidewalk infront of the store...I must now google 'rock with string" and see it for myself...

As a sideline, this episode has inspired me to create my own product to complement "Rock with a string" I think I shall call it "Brick with a stick" As an introductory offer anybody responding to this thread will recieve 15% off of the regular price of $72.45US (which I'm sure you will agree is an extremely fair price considering all the R&D costs incured). Please send all cheques payable to "CASH"

I'll take two "BS"s.... How pointy is the stick AND is the stick available in purple?

What I could possibly envision are colored ping pong balls. Some goldfish and gouramis (from what I've read) love floating ping pong balls and will toss them around the tank with their noses.

Perhaps use the rock and string for a fish version of tetherball?

heh.

Not willing to let her off so easily I asked why the purple string was more expensive than the white string. This mind-boggler required the attention of the fish manager who explained to me that due to the way a fish's eye works, the colour purple was much more pleasing to them and that only a store like theirs would invest the necessary resources to come up with such an innovative solution as purple string!

Ok, I think I figured out the purple string thing. I just gave my fish some blood worms, and guess what color they looked like. The color of the stuff that comes out of the fish after they eat the blood worms is much darker. They eat the blood worms, but not the poop. I don't understand how someone could take the time to figure this out.

We are definitely onto something here...

I should have patented the “Take the fish to the lake” idea.

Hey I'll take two Bricks with a Stick. Also could you get me the stick in red?
