I am curious, but does anybody know the average life span of a bristlenose algea eater? I've had the same bristlenose for about 3 yrs. now; when I got her (and yes it is a her) she was already a year old (perhaps older).
Anyhow, this afternoon she was doing great-just doing her thing in the tank as always! Then this evening I come home, turn on the lights, and she is sitting right infront of the tank (like she was looking for me) dead. It broke my heart b/c I was really attached to her!
If anybody has the answer to my question I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
