Anybody know the life span of black skirt tetras, painted glass fish, and hillstream loaches?

the tetras about 6 years or so,
the painted fish, unmolested 6 years, dyed somewhat less 4years if they survive the first bit

many loaches are quite long lived... and cold water fish especially so... so its more up to the conditions you can provide taht deturmins how long you can have those

How about the age of the fish when you purchase it?

Well then that would depend on the individual fish. For example, livebearers can be sold much sooner after birth than a fish like a Goldfish, Oscar, Gourami or Betta could.

I have no idea how old the fish were when I bought them.
