getting a new 30 gallon planted soon. my question is what is the best overall plant substrate for a planted tank. also what is the overall best WPG for a planted tank. I want several different kinds of plants in my tank, so give me the answers for the overall best

I like Eco-Complete substrate. I have water onions,the leaves have almost covered the whole top of my 38 gal, elodea, which also go across the whole top, and micro sword.

Overall does not work. Everything is specific. What you want to see happen, what plant mass, types of plants.
