Looks like a decent wiring job, but those sockets unfortunately have no mounting bracket...they are meant for another application. they ARE quite weather resistant though could drill holes and tie-wrap the bulbs and sockets to the hood, but I'm not real comfy with that idea long-term.
HD has sockets with a turn switch on the bottom and screw terminals. with those you'd just need to drill a hole (about 5/16-3/8"?) in each end of the hood and fasten thru the hole. It would also give you individual switches for each bulb. Or you could get the ceramic sockets with mounting holes like DD used (or were they white plastic...can't tell)
I'd suggest wrapping each wire nut tighly with electrical tape or rubber tape once you decide on the final layout. Then you can tie-wrap the wires neatly out of the way.
The watts are 2 15 watt bulbs but they equal 40 or whatever. I used 2 Pvc pipes to fasten them on and is worked very! well. i cut one to fit the fixture then i cut one to hold the one thats holding the fixture. That way i have it raised up a bit and i can pop it out to change the light. But it also doesn't fall out luckily.
Right now i just have tinfoil under the lights but i might do the whole thing or paint it white.
