Light timer

Where can i get a good light timer for my 29gal?

It do not have to be grounded because i have a flourecent 18watt.

I don't want to spend alot of money on it either.

Also would like it to be digital if possible.

I have had digital timers and I don't think it's worth it. The ones that I have would reset for some unknown reason. I like the regular ones better. They're cheap and reliable.

I buy $5 timers from Wal-mart all the time for my aquariums. Timex or somebody makes them, on/off settings are all mechanical (twist dials). They're in with the light bulbs.

I have the digital one as well as the dual manual timer.
I agree with the above post that the digital one is sometimes unreliable.
The dual manual one works great and really is inexpensive...... This is especially great when you don't have a lot of time on your hands and/or not home too often.

I picked up one at Home Depot (after a digital I bought at Walmart quit working the first week I had it). It has been working great...think I paid 4.99 and tax.

i use 2 of those cheap mech timers and they are fine. i have used them for years

Got 2 of the digitals and one mechaical Wallie World special-all work...

W.W. special is cheaper....

Get the mechanical, not digital.

Not because they eventually have to be reset and are a pain....

Many of the digital are not spec'ed for fluorescent lighting. Compared to incandescent lights, their start up current draw is too high for most digital timers. Read the package first. I've had one burn up on me.
