All my fish seem boring exept my neon tetras all my other fish just sit around and do nothing what are some fish that does lots of action and are fun to watch..........yes yes i kno yall are gonna say zebra danios but what are some other cool fish that are fun to watch and may put a spark in your tank?

yea they say 2 females for every male so if i add 2 females will that be cool

Your tank has a wide variety of species. perhaps it would be more interesting if you stuck to 2 or 3 species of schooling fish instead of having a scattered amount. some of your fish might not be as active because they prefer company of their own species, so they can school properly. beef up the numbers of your neon tetras, lamp eyes, glowlights or cherry barb. your single angel may end up eating your smaller schooling fish eventually so you'll have to give it away when it does start to attack.

I agree, most all of your fish need groups. You need to pick 3-4 types of fish and beef up your numbers, take the rest back.

well isnt it ok my glo lights school with the neons so do i still need to add more glo lights, and do ottos like to school cause if so i will add more of those but i heard 1 otto per 10 gallong is that true so i need like 5 ottos?

if you can give away the angel, and some other smaller fish, you can get a decent school of neons goind (like 13 or so) and put in a betta, not one of the vail bettas you get at the store for 3 bucks, search online, get a nice crown tail half moon betta. just stay away from fin nippers if you do. in a larger tank, bettas can be incredible fish. http://www.bettatalk.com check out that site, see what some real nice bettas look like, just keep in mind, those are PRESTENE bettas, and are slightly over priced. you can get a decent looking betta for 10 bucks that IMO will rival most saltwater species as far as looks. alos, check out rumynose tetras, they are cool looking fish in schools. i would even consider jely bean tetras (they might nip at the betta if you put one in) i had a school of those once, and they are very intresting fish. if you decide against the betta, try to find some long finned Zebra Danios. i have a small school in one tank, and they are amazing. to the point that i can now even feen them right out of my hand. check out http://liveaquaria.com they have a great ordering system set up but it also allows you to veiw fish, and bios on them that will really help you decide. but i would really recoment settin up some schools.

thanks ill boost up my neon to 10 neons and i gotta keep the angel its too nice looking and its only a baby

Yes you need minimum 6 of each species of tetra. Upside down catfish also need groups of 6 or more. I would do minimum 6 ottos in a 55, but not with an angel, the angel will try to eat them, but ottos like all catfish have spines in their pectoral fins that get lodged in an angelfish's throat. Really your angelfish will not be good for your tank, as it will eventually eat your tetras, ottos, probably cherry barbs too. Kuhli loaches also need groups of at least 3. They don't shoal but don't do well alone. I would take back the kuhli and the upside down catfish, and get a few more peppered cories so you don't end up with too many bottom dwellers. I would also take back the barb and angelfish and go with 10 of each tetra. Then about 8 ottos and call it good.

ok everybody thanks for the help i will take this all in consideration and do my best.....i probrabley got to wait till christmas to get all my list done tho thnks for time and help
