I've just finished setting up a new 33L (bought it w/my first paycheck 
) Since it has the same L x W dimensions as a 55g i figured I should just buy a standard 55 hood, but I don't really know what to do to bring the wattage up high enough for plants. I figure that since it's shallower and smaller overall than a 55 that I can get away with less... but honestly don't know where to start... Is something like NO necessary or can i get away with some kind of DIY thing?
