You should pick up a test kit if you haven't already.
Actually just ran my first test today. Looks like ammonia must have already peaked, as it is near zero and nitrites are high. Seems strange because the rock has only been in since Thursday and the sand since Friday. I assume the rock and sand bring in a pretty good load of bacteria.
Is this quick cycle typical with live rock? This is much faster than I've ever seen before, and I've tried most all of the different cycling techniques over the years.
