i found on ebay where i can buy a a reconditioned MH setup 175 wat for $80 a peace. it has a 10K bulb with it. my plan had been to go with PC strip light and 2 pc pendonts this would bring me up to 480wats in a 70gal soon to be reef set up. wich would be beter the 2 MH or the PC set up. also what other lights would i need if i go with the MH set up, i think that i would need acent lighting and i like the moon lighting.

what size tank? Im redoing my 90 and im using 2 250watt mhs and 2 VHO acintics. but it all depends on the tank size.
I would go with either 2 175 watts 10Ks and either acintic PCs or VHOs.
But if you can go with 250 watt MH. You dont have to use the pcs or vhos unless you just want to and no matter what kind of lights you do use you can add the moonlights for night viewing. If you want to do a cheap DIY MH.

is there a diference in light waves or the depth that MH will reach vs PC?
