Hello everybody, sorry for the generic thread title :)

Im currently setting up a 30g hex planted tank and I think im going to light it with a Coralife aqualight with a 96w quad bulb. Problem is, I dont know what the best bulb is for the job. I found 2 bulbs on Hellolights.com that might work...

96W Quad "50/50" 10,000K/Actinic 03

96W 6,700K -Quad Bulb16 3/4" http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=428

The top one I previously used on a nano-reef but Im not sure how it would be for a planted freshwater tank. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

I would deffinately go w/ the 6700K. The 10000K bulbs are designed more for soft corals and tend to wash out the greens of freshwater plants.
