my first tank i did my own little set up and it was a pain, i just want something that i can plug in and be done with it, its 36in long, and i dont plan on having corals or anything but id like about 190 wats or something, cheaper the better but i want it to be nice, what should i get

you can stick with some OEM type lights, or upgrade to shoplights

Have to agree with Ghost here..

As you do not intend to ahve corals or anything, just fish, then normal stock lighting that you have with an aquarium will usually suffice..May be add a low light actinic if you want to simulate dusk and dawn..

Keeps it nice and cheap for you then...
