Would i have to use co2 if i went with the coralife 65 watt ? I really don't want to have to use co2.

Nope!! and a good choice for a light!!~ my tank is the one above, and n o co2 ( no ferts either) just 2 weekly water changes
I also have the double T5 setup like Brad, it was less expensive than the 65w and I still grow aponogetons, anubias, peacock moss, wisteria, najas, and asian ambulia just fine. They perhaps grow a little more slowly, but to me that just means less trimming work. I've thought about upgrading but just can't justify it right now.
Try and figure out which plants you would like to grow and what their light needs are, then choose the fixture that best meets those needs.

I do Flourish 2x week, after water changes, and Flourish Excel whenever I remember it - every day or every other day.
If you are primarily attracted to high light needs plants than go with the 65 watt, but for me the T5's work fine. In my case, I figure if I decide I really want more light later, I will just buy a second T5 double strip and a glass canopy - although that would probably cost me more $$$ at bulb changing time.
Either way, you will enjoy your live plants and never want fake stuff again!

Now i have some good ideas about lighting, can you help me with filter ideas? I have read alot of good things about hob filter like aqua clear and canister filters like rena xp and eheim, but some say you need a canister filter with a planted tank and others say hob filters work just as well, what do you guys use? What size would i need for a 29 gal?
I forgot to ask, if i went with the T5's should i use the regular glass canopy or the twin tube versa top by allglass?
I use a HOB filter. It's a Penguin Biowheel 200. My T5 strip sits on the glass canopy. It's a Perfecto top like this one.
