im on the same boat as you, im looking for a light for my 75G which will be planted, the dimensions are like 48x18x21 im guessing youre working with the same thing, i looked on ahsupply.com and i dont knpow what to get, doesnt seem liek they really have anyhitng that will fit my needs, im planning on growing low light plants as well, my tank gets some sunlight during the day though so perhaps ill get a small light at first and see if the sunlgiht supplements them enough to get a good amount of growth, if you type aquarium lighting into google youll find alot of complete kits that you can put on top of flourescent cfl VHO ect. but theyre kind fo expensive and all the 48 inch ones use ALOT of wattage, power consumption is a concern for me, keep me informed on what you find and we´ll help eachother out fo this mess!!
