Lighting for hex tank

Hi, My 20 gallon hexagon tank has the light it came with. It says 40 watts. Right now I only have an amazon sword in there and it's doing good. I know with a hex tank, it's weird because the tank is tall. Can
someone please recommend a better light for me to purchase, so I can
have higher light plants.

It says flourescent aquarium reflector.

Is this a two bulb T5HO marine setup? The wattage is fine for low tech setup provided you do not have an actinic bulb. Plant bulbs or K ratings between 5000 and 10000K should provide adequate lighting for the sword and many other medium light and low light plants.
