I've been reading the forums here for awhile, but this is my first post. It may be a dumb question but I always seem to find 48" fixtures as opposed to 36" fixtures; however, I currently have a 29g (36") tank. Would it be a bad idea to use a 48" on this tank? I understand that some lighting would be lost, but I could build a canopy to house the extra length if this might be considered practical. Thanks in advance for the help.
