Lighting question

White fusion spray paint for the inside of the housing.
AC Cord (or reuse the exisiting one)
perhaps some heat shrink tubing for insulating the connections.

I just did this on my 60 gallon (you would do the same, except I used two sockets, 4 lights, you'll prob only want half that). On a 20 gal you could really get a lot of light going, you have options with the bulbs.

Here's the thread I posted about it: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210143&page=2

The post with step-by-step pictures and stuff is #16. It was really easy and really cheap.

ok, they're done. I used white paint like a lot of the others said. Also used a ceiling light fixture, the kind with 2 sockets. took the one bracket off, drilled a hole in the back of the hood and attached it that way. seems to work so far.
