lighting question

I currently have a single T8 15 watt 10,000K bulb on a 20 gallon tank. Would this be considered low, medium, or high lighting? I can't seem to find a clear answer online when doing research.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Could these bulbs be used for both medium light? and with a reptile clip on fixture?

They're not as efficient as the tubes but a couple of those should give you low or medium light depending on the photoperiod and distance from the water surface. I don't like to use those reptile clips however. You could just get a cheap incandescent hood and replace the bulbs with the cfls.

plain ol' cfl household bulbs work great for smaller tanks (20 gal and under), and are the most inexpensive way to get decent lighting on your tank. plants will grow nicely, as long as you don't choose high light or sensitive plants.

this was my 2.5 gallon with one cfl bulb over it, with a glass lid. lighting was about 10-12 hours a day (plant list is valisneria, small amazon swords, wisteria, and a moss ball):

I have to agree with Bettafishmommy. I have low light in almost all my tanks and my plants do great. I use a little liquid fertilizer and choose plants wisely and I have NO problems with lighting at all.
