Hey all, I have a 90 gallon Marineland "wave" tank and I was thinking of doing plants, and to go along with that I need the reccomended 2-3 watts/gallon so I was looking around and I saw the Flourescent VHOs(Very High Output). My question is, will the VHOs work alright in the hood/strip that my tank came with, its using fluorescents right now but I dont believe its using the VHOs. Its a stock Marineland strip/hood, sorry not sure what to call it, its not a full hood, just a plastic canopy with only the lights in it.
