well ive kept them under light like that at my old work and since they are usually used to at least powercompacts i wouldnt recommend that light. a dual 65 watt(130) lamp would be much better.

I had a 96W unit with the Quad tube and loved it. You will want more than 2.4W per gallon. But Coralife is a good name brand!!

That's (the 28w PC) probably not much better than what you have already.
About all you could keep with that light would be polyps, zoanthids, mushrooms, and maybe leathers. A standard two 20w NO lamp fixture would be a bit better.
If you are handy and can build your own hood, four 20 watt NO's would be much better and still be economical.
Better still: I'm sure there are probably 2ft T5 HO lamps with reflectors that would fit that size of tank, if you google for it or check e-bay.

I don't know what tank you are talking about!
DrzFishFan was inquiring about lighting for his proposed 30g tank and that's what I was replying to.
Did we get on to another tank and I missed that part somehow?

That is the one I have. The next series up has moon lights I belive but that one does not. I theink the one with moon lights is the aqualight pro instead of delux, I'm just not sure if it comes in a 20 inch, I'll look and see for you though.
