well u gotta figure tank, heater, lights, powerheads. Are you going to have a filter or skimmer. the lights are probably the most expensive and second would be the skimmer. Id say go with just a reg filter but make sure to clean it weekly. You also have to figure in your LR, depending on LFS around you it could be expensive. 550 seems like a good start to me. Imgoing to do a 50/50 base/LR ratio, im actually going to try marco rocks from cape cod.
