i am currently building my first tank...

i am a bit confused with the lighting...
my tank is 100cmx55cmx55cm

i will be having corals and will probably have all types...

will a t5 high output system be enough...
im looking at getting 6x 39watt 10000k white lights in a t5-ho system

will this be good enough or??

please let me know
thanks
josh

10,000k bulbs are just stock
i will probably change a few around.
sweet thanks for that.

If you are getting stock bulbs it will prob be 3 10000k and 3 actinics. Thats what most manufacturers ship. As for colors there are so many for t5's. i would look around on the net. The different color of lights will change the color of your corals.

that is plenty of light im growing sps with 4 bulbs but i want to upgrade to 6 also get some fiji purple bulbs they are wicked

That setup will be plenty for basically anything you'll want to keep. You may even bleach things if you don't acclimate carefully. I highly recommend you also use some blue and/or actinic tubes to cut down the intensity some to start with. If not, I think you'll have even more problems with bleaching, especially if this is the first time you've tried T5 HO.

i am going to go with the 4x39w t5 system instead...
the light is sitting a couple of inches above water...
i hape this is good enough.

AMP, is there a rule of thumb about the height off the tank for the lights? mine are about 18" off the tank and was wondering if they should be closer.
