lightng for a nano reef

The Nano Reef i bought has a 25 watt bulb but it's a 12 gallon tank, is this enough for coral, i heard a 5 watt per gallon rule, is that wronge? Thanks

Won't be enough to support much in the way of corals if it's NO, might be okay for some low light corals if it's a power compact or something similar. What type of lighting is it?
 
on the light

I looked it up and talked to others with the nano cube. They said that with live rock and sand you really only have around 6 gallons of water. so with the 24 Watts you have 4 wats a gallos so it's ok for some shrooms and a few softies. I am going to put a 32 Watt retrofit kit in it and run the on a stagger. So i hope it goes well, i'll post pictures.
