I recently got a 29 gallon tank from my neighbor. I would like to grow plants in it, as my other tanks are all planted. Problem is, the light strip is ancient- screw in incandescent with two bulbs in the middle. My hubby is convinced that I can find some plant-worthy flourescents to go in there. I only want about 2 wpgs for crypts and such. Anyone know if and where I can get bulbs for this?

I'm gunning for a new strip with two flourescent lights, but it's beyond my budget at the moment.

The hood I have for my 10 gal came with incadesents... I've since bought replacement floresent bulbs that screw into the sockets. It won't get you the wattage you need but it'll be a lot better. FYI, I got them at walmart.
