I was wondering if I should have the lights on for a few hrs a day while curing my live rock? I was thinking that this may help establish some coralline algae and perhaps a few corals,,,all feedback is welcomed !!

It really depends on whether the live rock is partially cured or completely uncured. If the live rock "stinks", I would keep the lights of and the circulation really high during the curing process. If the rock is not smelly and has some growth on it you wish to preserve, I like to keep just the actinic light on for 6-8 hours or so a day.
