has anyone used the new lightsw that have regular and acentic lights built into the same bulb? i just seen some today when i took a 2 1/2 hour drive to evensville. i cant remember the name and i wished i had written it down but i didnt. it was a 4 foot compact with moonlights built in. only ran $109. i didnt think that it was to bad, but i was wondering if anyone has used them, if so have you had any luck, good or bad?

Sounds like you are talking about compact fluorescents that are half 10,000k and half actinic. They fit in the same socket and use the same current, etc... as normal compact fluorescents. i was just wondering if anyone had any luck with them. i am thinking about buying a pc with them to add just a bit more light. i would like to invest in some clams but i dont think that i have enough light yet. i have a freind that has done very well with clams with only pc lighting. if i had another 130 watts i would have the same wattage as he does. just kicking around ideas and stuff nothing set in stone yet.
