These could be my favorite of the neos. I have em in my 5.5 with black sand, and they look absolutely otherworldly. Where was this sale when i bought em huh? :mean:
 
How many could comfortably fit in a 1 gallon? My sis wants to start a shrimp tank :)
 
the basic rule of thumb is 10 adults per gallon, but 1g doesn't leave any room for growth at all and they do reproduce readily. Also, the smaller the tank, the less dilution and the more difficult it can be to keep stable parameters. I really don't like less than 5g for a shrimp tank with over 10g being ideal.
 
Ok thats fine, we were just trying to find something for it other than her snail breeding tank :D, got like 500 now.
