Hi all. Last week a bought a Lionfish. I think its a fuzzy dwarf but not sure. It looks like this http://www.nos.noaa.gov/education/stories/lionfish/media/lion0b_240.jpg
Its very small about an inch long. Im worried because it doesnt seem to be feeding. I feed my other fish frozen artemia and frozen marine mix. I know the lionfish eats fish so i bought some frozen lancer fish and a some prawns. The lionfish will not eat any of the food i put in the tank. Ive tried dangling the food in front of it trying to get him to take it but no luck.

Thanks

You might have to start it out on something like live guppies or young mollies. Sometimes they won't tank frozen foods when they are very young or freshly imported. I hope that's not the line you have it looks like a voltans to me they get to be about the size of a basketball.

That is a volitan--they get huge. If you can find live brine, that should do for a while.
