Lionfish?

Hey all just checking to see if anyone else keeps Lionfish here and if so which species? I have just gotten back into keeping them and currently have a baby Black Volitan Lion (Pterois volitans) and a Fu Manchu Lion (Dendrochirus biocellatus). Got the BV a couple of weeks ago and has already grown, he eats tons of frozen raw shrimp and he is pitch black (the photo below doesn't show his color well). The Fu Manchu arrived early this week from LiveAquaria since CO rarely gets them, and I have already gotten him on frozen foods (never had to feed him live which generally the Fu Manchu's require live foods and are difficult to get onto anything not live). I am hoping maybe early next year after I get my 209 re-set up to get a Radiata also. Anyway so what Lions do you have and have any pics? Here is a pic of my 2 (ignore the algae that was from over the summer when I was gone and is now going away).

I just got a Fu Manchu as well, very interesting fish, he posts up under my live rock and waves in barbs at my other fish. I haven't got him to eat frozen food yet but he loves the ghost shrimp. Ive heard you can train them to eat frozen food by dangling fish on a stick near them, haven't tryed yet though.
 
Welcome to Aquaria Central! Hope you know that Fu Manchu's are probably THE most difficult of the lions to get onto frozen. They are NOT easy! Anyway good luck with yours. Here is an updated photo of mine. Good luck with yours and welcome to Aquaria Central!

I have a Fuzzy Dwarf. Cool critter. Eats frozen and live..
 
i had a volitans for about a year, he was a awesome little fish, but unfortunately when i moved to a new city, he didnt take the move very well, and died a few days later

Oh thats a beauty, mine is a little bigger than that prob about 4 to 6 in..How often should I feed him..Ive been told ghost shrimp every 4-5 days but hes been roaming around the tank like he hungry
 
mine would get a feed every night, that kept him happy, but i had to be careful, because he was a pig, he would eat any food that was in sight, to the point that he would get bloated
 
I feed both of my Lions (the Fu and the Volitan) every other day. They are both VERY good at informing me when they are hungry. You want to feed them at least 3-four times a week. When they are fully adult you can back off a little but when they are young and growing they need all the nutrition they can get. Anyway hope this helps and again good luck with yours!
 
Its such a pain in the *** to go to the fish store for ghost shrimp every couple of days..I think im going to set up my 25 gallon tank as a feeding station! lol thanks for the feedback guys
 
No lion here, although I was going to set up my 55 around a dwarf....but I didn't have enough money and had to go FW. :(

Theyre still one of my all-time favorite fish.

EDIT: FU MANCHU MAIN, I'd suggest trying to get it to eat FW right away. Try spearing some frozen food on a feeding stick and wiggling it in front of your lion to make it look alive.
