I recently learned that even though I was doing water changes and using Prime/Bio-safe, the reason I kept getting the same or higher ammonia readings was because they were giving my Aquarium Pharma kit false positives (reading total ammonia instead of free ammonia). That would have been nice to know before hand.

So i went ahead and purchased myself an Ammonia Alert. But, I still like the ability to do a liquid test to get a more accurate reading. Anything that is reliable in this situation?

It's a Seachem one but I dont' know specifics.. maybe have a look around their website.
