Don't purchase from them.They always send smaller size than they post and poor quality fishs.Try cichlids.net....
 
They are local here, i was thinking about going to check them out, they use their water from a hot spring over here, pretty neat.

Hello I am Josh Davis the owner and founder of Livefishdirect.com as well as the retail/wholesale store Tropical Fish Wholesale in Draper as well as the Fish Hatchery Crystal Springs Fisheries in Bluffdale Utah. I do not understand the basis of this post nor do I see how such a broad comment can carry any weight. The facts are I have established some really large and really nice facilities for breeding, importing, raising and shipping the fish you all enjoy. I serve hundreds of customers every week and I am constantly seeking to provide excellent service on a friendly one on one basis to all my customers. I personally inspect and pack many of the fish myself. I search the world over for the best selection and best strains. I pamper all my fish with constant water changes. I send fair refunds if there are ever any problems and work with anyone who has concerns. There are some who carry unrealistic expections with everthing and are setting themselves up for dissapointment everywhere they go. Please understand I take pride in what I do and I seek to only be honest and fair with my customers. Our company has been growing rapidly and the majority of my customers are from word of mouth referral from previous customers all over the country. We are still the underdog but I really believe my selection, quality, prices, facilities, and service for such a specialized industry are top tier and better than any competitor. I don't think any one out there complaining could follow me around for a day and see everything we do to insure the quality of our fish and the satisfaction of our customers and then honestly believe we are not the best at what we do.

I don't understand this comment either. we can sex many of the fish listed on our site and different sizes. Occasionally like with peacocks we will run out of colored males and instead of just shipping whatever we are honest with our customers and tell them either to wait until more color up and we are sure or we can give it our best shot as they are now. We try to remain current on our stocklist every week but sometimes we get supprise orders and people clean us out of certain items therefore we run out of fish that we can guarantee the sex of. I think it is quite rash to just say well they ran out of the fish I wanted so therefore I will never order from them ever. It would be nice to get a phone call or an email of the fish you are looking for and just have us email back when we have more avaible.
 
So you're saying that petluvr contacted YOU in regards to his potential order, and that you ran out of males/females due to a large order? Let's stay focused on why your company was given these poor reviews, and not what problems and complications that your company MAY have gone through that does not relate to these reviews posted here.

I'd be interested to see how you fair against these alligations and how you intend to make right of what's wrong.

Feel free to post back here as I'm sure there's more interest in seeing how the owner of a supplier responds to commends such as these on a public forum.
