Live fish direct

This thread seems bias without merit.

I just placed an order that will be here in the morning, I will post some pics and review.

the prices seem pretty fair to me!

From what I read you have never purchased anything from them.

You cant review without buying the product.

To be honest Ive bought from them before and every time I have bought from them I got what was advertised, its just a verbal disclaimer in the rare case a fish gets sexed incorrectly or the customer is one of those guys that could never be satisfied, we all know the type. in that case they will send you another one.

I suspect your affiliated with another breeder.

When my order comes in tomorrow I will take video and pictures to give a real unbiased review from a actual customer not a email.
 
Sorry but your suspicions are wrong I am affiliated with no breeders. As I stated earlier in the thread the site advertises they can and do sell sexed individuals yet when I spoke directly to them they said they could not no matter the size. That was all I needed to know.

Unpleasant and hard to deal with, that's the first I have ever heard that :) Checkout my feedback to see just how unpleasant and hard to deal with I am.
 
I received my order yesterday from Live Fish Direct. I could not be any happier with my order! all the fish came in just as advertised. EVERY fish is perfect, healthy, colorful and the sex they said they would be!

I am ordering more of the Sunshine Peacock Benga Yellows Monday :thm:

I am sooooo glad I didn't let a review from a person that hasn't even bought from them scare me away from a good breeder!

I will post some pics in a new thread reviewing Live Fish Direct since this thread has a totally unwarranted negativity. I was told in an email from the owner this when I ASKED if they cant determine the sex of the fish: "We would never tell anyone we can't sex ANY of the fish"

He sexed mine perfectly so based of fact not conjecture or bias I call B.S. to the aligations

I recently placed an order with Live Fish Direct because their prices seemed competitive with other sites I checked (Thatpetplace, liveaquaria, etc.) and the shipping rates were the same. They also seem to have a greater selection of African Cichlids than other sites, and their 14 day guarantee equals other vendors. Plus my local fish stores don't have much of a selection at all, and the tanks are usually tended to by kids who don't seem to have much knowledge of what they're doing (or even care).

My fish arrived perfectly intact and alive, and they even included a free Regal Blue with my order. I have no idea if they sexed the fish correctly because they all look the same to me. :)

The only problem I have with them is that I have contacted them through e-mail and two telephone calls and have yet to receive an answer to my questions. Both times that I called I spoke with "Gary" who wasn't able to answer my questions and promised to call me back as soon as he checked with his "boss"; I never heard back from him. And I never received an answer to my e-mail.

I only wanted to know why my fish refuse to come out of hiding even to feed. I spent a lot of money on fish that are worthless to me if I can't see them!
