I breed convicts for feeders, and will be breeding feeder guppies soon.

How easy is it to breed convicts for feeders? I know they lay a lot of eggs, but I would have figured guppies were the easiest way to go.

How fast to the convicts grow? Do you like larger feeders, and hence you use convict labor? ha ha ha! get it? (The joke works on so many levels!)

Water Daphnia and scuds would be pretty easy to breed and they are found on almost every where in the world. I would see if you can find some in your location.
They are easy to breed and produce young like crazy, much faster than guppies.

Yeah I know convicts would be a good breeder, but I think I'll go with the guppies as they require less attension.

But I will look into other foods

haha nah convicts will require much less attention than guppies, after all the guppies will eat the fry they can catch, the convicts will raise the fry for you.
