I agree i've had a fluval canister and a bio wheel. They are junk unless you to extreme cleanings of the media which is a pain in the ***. I have ditched both doing LR and a skimmer they caused all the problems with all my nitrate spikes good luck. IMO they are better for freshwater tanks, I wish I would have listened to the guys here and saved 300 bucks for a custom sump.
