live rock in new tank

thanks to those who replied to my other thread,,,ill take the advice and put in some live rock.is live rock introduced to the tank the same as fish would be?

also,,could someone list the min.-max. and desired values for
ph,temp ect.?
i get varying answers from my pet stores in the area.

Temp 76-84 pic a temp and try to keep it there.
Nitrates 0-20, but 0 prettymuch
Nitrites 0
Ammonia 0
Salnity I use 1.025 for my reef but you can use a little lower for fish only tanks
