Hi just introduced some good live rock (bought it from somebody who was moving) with very deep reddish purple coralline algae.
In the last 3 weeks some of the reddishness is gone and some parts are become white and other parts are becoming deep purple
Dont know if the rock is turning OK or going bad. Can some body advice
I have a 72G Bowfront SW with 2 x 65 compact flourescent light - I keep lights on for say 8 hours a day - In areas where there was less light rock remains reddish purple
