Last night I noticed that I had a good amount of algae growing in my little grotto area in my display so I had to rescape everything... assuming it was a flow issue. So i moved everything around and scrubbed off some algae.
The live rock is very far in the back of the tank to add some area up front. What I didn't do is I didn't float my rock on anything. Some of it is laying directing on the sand. Previously I had everything up off the sand except for several very small pieces of live rock (which acted like piers). Do you see any problem with that ? I am not as happy with the new arrangement as flow is going to be difficult under the rock and behind so chances are good that I will he redoing the rockscaping again tonight. The pieces of LR I have are odd and i wish I had the cash to purchase some new different pieces. I have almost all fiji but would love some tonga or something with a bit more definition.
