Got a hold of some nice big old skelton corals. Whats the best way to turn them into live rock. Should I just wash them with fresh water and throw them in the tank? Then I also saw some smaller pieces. Should I bust them up and put them in my c-360 marineland?

The best way to turn them into live rock is to place them in a established tank that already has a large amount of live rock in it. However, even then it will take up to 9 months to a year to be considered real "live rock".

I wouldn't bother breaking down the smaller pieces. Sounds like you want to use those pieces for filtration. I would use real live rock instead to place instead your fitler.

Overall, you have some beautiful pieces there. I am sure your aquascape will turn out wonderful.

Should I clean them our just drop them in the tank?

So should I bust up some of my live rock and use that as a filteration? My filter has carbon, ceremics, sponge, micro-filter, and bio-balls. Which should I take out and replace with live rock?

Should I put this in as well?

Also bought this from the person I bought the rock from?

De-Nitrate remover

Should I put this with the live rock in the canister?

Most people on here frown on chemicals of any sort but water conditioner. I use water conditioner and stress zyme.
