Live Rock

Just wanted to know if anyone has ever bought live rock from
DrsFosterSmith.com. . Is this a good source or are there any other recommendations.

I've heard many good things. They are also quite cheap, even with shipping. Cheaper than getting it at a LFS for $5-7lb. If you need rock for a nano tank, try www.marinedepot.com For some reason it's cheaper from them than Drs. Foster& Smith.

that's whare i bought my lr from there was maybe a pound of rumble in the box don't know how well it cures as i cycled my tank with but most lfs around here want 9.99lb for lr and most is ugly rock and not fuji like i got ( then again is rock really all that pretty)there are some lfs around here that will give you discount if you buy alot i.e. 45 lbs +

That sucks. My LFS has premium Fiji LR for $3.50/lb. Oh, and I suggest the Drs. for LR, they have some good stuff. I bought the 30lb box of Lalo Select LR and it is fantastic. Tons of growth on it and growing even through curing in a cooler with nothing but a heater. The only thing is, if you are adding to a new tank, it has to cure outside the tank for almost a month because of the extensive die-off.

Thanks for the input, checked my lfs today, they had figi rock for 5.79 lb.
4.79 lb for over 100 lbs. Don't think i need that much for a 55 gal.
Besides it didn't look all that good.
