or do u guyz think housing 20 brigattae and 5-10 galaxies would be a better idea? also with the CRS and 2 ottos. Any of u guyz reccommend any small colourful fish with is compatible with CRS???

I think your second option is FAR better. These fish will be really fun to watch and they won't crowd the tank!

As long as he has a solution for keeping the environment balanced, it not overstocked. this is comming from someone who used to keep upwards of 400~500 fish in a 40 breeder for months at a time. Depends on the fish, depends on the size, depends on the level of care

fish+shrimp= fewer shrimp.. but with galaxies and microrasboras it'll be ok but with reduced numbers

okay thanks. i think ill go with the second option then. But, does any1 kno other colourful types of microrasboras which require the same stuff?

Much better.
The main issue I saw with the cardinals was predation on the shrimp.
The next issue with shrimp is you're building a black water tank and wanting shrimp that usually prefer harder water.
Have you experience keeping shrimp in softer water?

I suggest you go easy with the java moss. In my experience it can grow too fast and crowd out the fish. Flame or willow moss would in my opinion be a slower growing option.

agree with ARAKKIS, i've kept up to 50 tiny fish in that 20 g be4 and they were all healthy, the water condition is perfect(water change 75% evry weekend). it just needs more care and time into it to house the 20 cardinals and 15 brigattaes together. Somehow i find galaxy rasboras rlly interesting to watch, however i dont fancy their coloration much, it looks too dull if u if u look at them as a whole not individually. but cardinal tets looks fancy whether seen in a shoal or individually.

yes ive manage to kept RCS in soft water be4 but not CRS, and the cardinals leave the shrimplets alone in my tank.
