The left picture shows something that I suspect is a sponge, but I am not quite sure. Its not spreading at an alarming rate, if at all, so I think I can rule out algae.

I tried to ID the thing on the right picture, but I couldn't. Until resently I thought it was long dead but a couple of days ago I saw long white string-things extending from its middle. I don't believe I have seen it fully extend since it only looks like a couple of strings or feather things are extending. I tried to take a picture but the strings rarely appear and startle quite easily.

First picture is a sponge, just a harmless filter feeder..

Other two pictures could either be a feather duster or a hydroid...Is the tube itself static?

Attached a pic of a hydroid..Does it resemble this at all?

Yes, the tub it self is static. The strings on the one you showed me are a bit more spread out and stringing than mine. Mine is a bit weird. The feathers are more clumped together (long) and extend from the middle of the tub, not the end. I am not sure if this is because the creature isn't opened all the way. I have only one of these things in my tank.

hard to tell for the pics but the first is a sponge like he said but the other is harder can u get a better pic when its open maybe?

I will try. Its definitely not open very often. Especially since my damsel decided to make his new hidding spot there.
