im looking for a background of living plants, like a green carpet on the back wall. i remember once coming accross a post here that someone sandwiched a moss between mesh screaning, if anyone has had experience with this let me know. or knows of that link. if you could also post pictures of your setup .

This site shows you how to do it with moss and screen and it works out well. It won't look good right away but after awhile, it looks great.

Couldn't you have like a long piece of chicken wire or whatever you want to use for the moss to attach and have it lay on the bottom of you tank for a while without fish and once moss has taken hold just lean up and stick it to the back? Would that work?
It sounds like it would work to me, odinthejd. This sounds very cool, my LFS has a tank with this and it looks really good!

I would think chicken wire would rust, but perhaps that stuff they use for cross-stich or the plastic needlpoint material.
