Hello!

i posted this in my "howdy - newbie" thread and found it was in the wrong place,

i have a 40ish gallon tank (2ft x 1ft x 1ft) have had it over a year and the fish are nice and happy! (I must be doing something right)
anyways, in with mixxed danios, peppered cats and 2 angels i have 2 loaches and for the life of me i cannot remember which breed, they arent albinos cuz they have black eyes but they have similar colouring, orange/pink type.
one is bigger than the other, always has been even when i brought them.

the smaller of the two has recently developed a grey stomach.
it is not swollen and he/she seems fine apart from the grey insides.
the larger of the two doesnt have this problem and none of the other inhabitants have any problems.

have checked the water and thats all perfect, no excess anythings and i do regular water changes (once every fortnight, 3rd of a tank - anything different and the water balance is off and they get white spot).

i don't quite know what else to tell you! if i missed anything out jsut ask!

thank you in advance for the help.
i do have pictures:

while the others are uploadng:

thats the one im worried about appologies for the not-so-great quality i was using my dads camera and im not used to it!!

Is that a Golden Dojo loach? I don't think Dojos NEED company- but I think they are a species that appreciate it- the smaller one may hide less with more same-species company around.

It looks like a gold chinese algae eater to me, sometimes sold as a "sucking loach". Not a loach & it will get big & aggressive especially in a small tank.

If your dimensions are correct (24"x12"x12") than you tank is only 15 gallons. Far too small for the angels and the "loach" species, which Im assuming is actually a CAE as fishorama suggested.

I agree with above post
