I just got a clown loach today i thought they were peace full i put him in and he was nipping at my neons is this bad or just new time jitters.

Clown loaches are a social fish i.e. need to be kept in groups, the more the merrier, that said, I've never had a problem with them bothering other fish but i've also never had just one.

I just got 5 of them today, I noticed them going at a few other fish also, but at closer look at appears thay are just "cleaning" them as thay do the rock and other stuff, sometimes the other fish dont even notice there doing it, but I have only had them for a day now so its hard to say

I watch more today and see that hes not bothering the others i think just checking every thing out or cleaning but i have to get more of them to so thanks.

Jim, no prob I observed mine for about 30 minutes today and there is 1 loach out of the 5 that is a real hell raiser, he go's around bothering anyone. Prehaps you have one also, I am no fish expert but theres always one bad egg just like with people or anything else lol. the 4 other loaches are very nice to the other tank mates
