I have recently purchased a plastic Bonsai Tree. The tree contains several parts(Trunk, tree, and branches.) Anywho I was wanting to glue these parts togother since they seem to be fairly loose, and there will be no interchanging of parts(I'm not even sure why it's made like that... better shipping I suppose.) So my question is this.

Is "Loctite Stik'n Seal" Aquarium safe? It's A Waterproof Adhesive that bonds brick, wood, glass, rubber, Metal, plastic, fiberglass, leather.

I've never used silicone for plastic, only glasswork.(then again, I only in last few months started my aquariums.
I'll probably do that since I have to get some for touch up work on another tank I picked up.

But does anyone know for sure one way or another?

Sorry I can't say. Is there an 800 # or something somewhere on the packaging that you could call & find out? Even at that I don't think I would risk using it.
Best to stick with stated aquarium products. :)

I would advise not using anything "Loctite" on anything aquarium related unless it says so on the label. This is not a slam against Loctite but play it safe and, like the others said, stick with aquarium safe products.

Loctite makes some serious industrial grade stuff and that is where most of their market is.

I would use silicone sealer or a aquarium epoxy.
