LOL! Coolest fish toy!!

Just go the your LFS and get about 100 ghost shrimp (cost is about $7 for 100) and your Oscar will have plenty of stimulus chasing them around trying to eat them!! It keeps my fish busy!!

not to hijack the thread, but I would love to know how you get 100 ghost for 7 bucks, because most of the LFS i go to want .29-.30 per shrimp.

"Texas Tropical & Marine", here in San Antonio sell 100 ghost shrimp for $7.99 -- and it's not the only store that sells them for that for that price...it's usually around 10-12 for a $1 no matter where you go down here.

get him some lego and tell him to build away lol.

If you want toys, why not try the infant section in the shops, there lots of toys that would float and are suitable for such young children do to lack of detachable parts, and of course they are made from non-toxic materials. So should be perfect for mulder

Ever since my Oscar was little, I gave it this medium sized plastic plant to play with. I don't burry it in the gravel, but instead, let it bob around the water. My oscar would love to chase it when it got blown by the current of my filters and loved to bite it and pull it. He only pushes it around every once in a while now, but I think he still enjoys it being there.

Thanks guys! Since the only thing I had money for was a 55 and he is a bit aggresive, i hope to keep Mulder entertained with toys! Trust me, if I could I would buy him a whole pond just for him and maybe a girlfriend for him!

Ah heck give it a try. I read of people with biiiiiiig tanks who like to take their plecos on a ride along on a toy remote boat every now and then with no ill effects. If it seems to annoy him/her ditch it.

Seems to me like it'd be pretty darn funny to toss that in your tank right before guests who have never seen you tank shows up. I'd be curious to see their reaction. I'm not paying $15 plus shipping for one, but If I had one laying around I'd do it.
