Hi Guys, haven't posted for a while. Went to the London Aquarium at the weekend, its the firts time i've been to a major aquarium since i was a kid. I really enjoyed it. A couple of points

1. really was in awe of the sand tiger sharks, they are simply massive 8ft + but you really dont gauge thier size until they glide past the viewing pane, the aqurium has beautiful examples not a mark on thier body. i really fancied a swim in there.

2. they have a reef tank with about 15 P.volitans, i did not realise how soical these animals are they were either swimming around together or hanging upside down in caves like bats. Really would have liked to see how they fed a tank that size knowing how lions eat from feeding my P.radiata.

I was at the London Aquarium about 6 yrs ago. Very cool place. I don't know if it is any different now, but my favorites were the stingray pool where you could pet the stingrays (very friendly little critters contrary to current unfortunate media stories), the archer fish tank which had an open top so that the archers could spit at food smeared on the back wall (very comical to watch), and the Ford Ka that they sealed up and turned into an aquarium (they fed the fish through the sun roof). Very cool place. I would love to go back.
