New to the forum, so please excuse any missteps.

So, I have a 75g planted tank with a lonely black angel, well and some cardinals and nerite snails (and 2 pleco's/upsidedown cat I need to relocate) I have a few questions about finding her a mate.

She is about 6in tall (fin to fin, exluding the dangly things). Just found out about a month ago she is a female, she laid eggs on the wall! Side note, do angels regularly lay eggs without mates? There was another angel in the tank previously (I have actually gone through 2 platinum angels in the time she has been in the tank).

So I want to find her a male to see where things will go. What are my best options for finding a suitable mate, if any? I know that ideally you would get 3-4 pairs of angels to start and see which pair up. Problem there being I only want the 1 pair, not 3-4.

Is it to late to find her a mate?

Anything else you can add would be amazing.

Edit: I am looking to get a platinum angel for her (named her Night and my original platinum angel Gale, although the naming doesnt quite fit the fishes gender now) if that matters.

The problem is getting a proven sexed angel. Unless you can catch them breeding, its very difficult to sex them. And at that point, there's ap air so most people would not want to give one or the other up. This is why folks start with a group of six, you wait for two to pair up then sell off or move the rest.
