lonely corys.

Shekoi

Trying to start up again
i have two pepper corys which were handed to me by a friend they are both in my 15g along with a dwarf gourami and platie fry and 6 rasbora.

they seem to chase the other fish- and don't really hind. the corys in my 40g always hind when somebody passes the tank?

why are the two on their own not so whimpy??
Why do they chase the other fish?

the only options open to me are take them to LFS - don't really want to - risking them getting a bad home.
second option is to put them with my 9 other corys in my already full 40g, untill i upgrade the 15g which i am inteading to do.
last option leave it as is??

40g is heavily filter with 304 canisiter filter and i do 40% water change weekly.

I never heard of cories being aggressive. I've had a solitary skunk cory (I didn't know cories needed groups before coming to this site, sorry) and it's very good with other fish and it's my favorite fish. :) I would like to get 2 more skunk cories but the LFS doesn't stock them often so I might have to get 1 reticulated and 1 albino or something.

I suggest you put them in your 40g with the other cories. They will be less lonely that way, and 2 more fish won't be too overstocked.
