Look at these little gems that came in the mail today :D

Wow, those boys are adorable !

They are really quite fascinating too. With their deep throat line it would suggest paternal or maternal mouthbrooding as way of reproduction but the few documented cases of breeding have reported them as bubble nesters. They also do that cute bendy thing that sparkling gouramis do.

The behaviors are amazing, I watched my gourami croaking when I had him in a 10 gallon tank and I loved the way he swam and went for the food. I would really like to try some gouramis in my tank, although I know they don't go very well with angels.
